MSU Tollgate Farm along with the Novi Community Coalition presents: Forest Therapy. Join us at MSU Extension’s scenic and historic farm this summer for the Tollgate Forest Therapy Summer Series! Forest Therapy, also called “Shinrin Roku,” is a practice that has existed for hundreds of years and is known to reduce stress and foster a general sense of relaxation. Forest therapy effects may be felt for up to a week following a session. Free and open to the public, but slots are limited! We are partnering with the Novi Community Coalition and each participant will receive a coping bag with a Guide to Forest Bathing book along with evidence- based strategies to develop resilience.
