The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has installed a live camera that provides a real-time view of culvert removal and replacement work on Ten Mile Road between Meadowbrook and Haggerty roads in Novi.
The camera takes a photo every 15 minutes between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The project involves the replacement of two culverts and is part of the Ten Mile Road, Meadowbrook Road to Haggerty Road, rehabilitation project that will continue through the summer. The work is being done by Toebe Construction of Wixom.
Viewers can watch the progress of the construction on the
RCOC website (click on the “
Live Construction Camera” link in the “Popular Resources” section at the bottom of the home page). Site visitors can view photos of the project or a time-lapse series that combines all images taken in succession. RCOC will produce a compilation of all photos after completing the culvert work.
To learn about the project, visit the “Road Projects” page on the RCOC website (
