It's not yet summer, but the Novi Rotary Club's Feed the Need organization is already in full swing to meet the community's needs amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The non-profit organization, which typically operates during the summer months to assist families, ramped up their efforts once school was forced to close. Now that school has been closed for the remainder of the school year, Feed the Need will continuing supporting families through at least June 12 by providing free, ready-to-eat bagged lunches at satellite locations in Novi.
Lunches are provided on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11-noon and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-8pm. Each child in the family will receive a lunch brought to their car by a volunteer as they drive up to the following locations:
- Oakland Glens Park - Residents in Cars Only
- Country Cousins - Residents Only
- Highland Hills Estates - Residents Only
- Novi Meadows Homes - Residents Only
- Novi United Methodist Church - Public (41671 W. 10 Mile Road)
The organization is also seeking a variety of food and monetary donations at this time. A link to the food donation checklist and the Feed the Need flyer can be found
