This past weekend, 2 kids from Ronaldo Candido Academy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, located at 22002 Novi Rd, became the 2023 Pan Kids Jiu-Jitsu Champions, the most prestigious tournament you can win in jiu-jitsu as a child. The tournament had over 2,500 kids around the world competing in Orlando - FL. Claire Patterson (11 years old) had three matches, and submitted all her opponents; no points were scored against her, and Abigail Meyer (11 years old) was competing for the first time and won all her matches by submission, and no points were scored against her either. Both became 2023 Pan Kids Champions. What a great win for the Novi community and Michigan!
Professor Ronaldo is committed to serving the community, offering free scholarships for underprivileged youth in the area to train at the academy. His goal is to help all who enter the academy become successful in life through the art of jiu-jitsu.
