For over 30 years Tom Marcus has been a fixture at Novi football games, setting up the Novi pre-game tunnel” complete with its’ bright green ‘Cats eyes and smoke. Once the game begins, Tom enthusiastically patrols the sidelines, waving the Novi flag and using his signature duck call to encourage the team to victory.

In addition to his support of the football team, Tom and his wife Thelma have been very active in the Novi Community as business owners, members of the Chamber of Commerce and proud parents of their two Novi High School graduates.

To honor Tom and his contributions to the Novi Department of Athletics, we have selected Friday, February 5, 2010 as “Tom Marcus Night.” The “Tom Marcus Tunnel” – a modern, inflatable pre-game tunnel which will house future Novi Wildcat football teams during pre-game, will be unveiled for the first time and displayed in the atrium during the reception from 6:30 – 7:00 PM. At halftime of the girls’ varsity basketball game vs Northville, Tom will be honored with an honorary Novi Wildcats Varsity Jacket.
