Wildcats, Rocks Tie 5-5

In a rematch of a game played two weeks ago in which Novi shut out the Salem Rocks 8-0, this week's game turned out to be quite a different story. Looking for some redemption, the Rocks of Salem gave everything they had to get a hard earned come from behind tie against the Novi wheelers.

With a see-saw battle throughout most of the game Novi took a 5-3 lead with just under 4 minutes to play. Not to be denied, Salem battled to score 2 unanswered goals in the next 2 minutes to tie it up 5-5.

"The boys played well, however they were unable to capitalize on several great scoring opportunities and had two defensive breakdowns late in the game that lead to Salem's tie," said Coach Smith.

Novi was lead by Nick Carroll with a 3 point night.
