Novi Wildcat Inline Hockey
opened up their 2007 season league play with a dominant
showing in a 8-0 shutout over Salem Thursday night.
Leading the way for the 'Cats was Senior netminder Kyle Jones,
making the zero-club in his first Varsity game. Putting points
on the board was Senior Kyle Potocki, netting a hat trick and
tallying 4 points for the evening. Nick Carroll had a strong
night as well with 3 points. Four other rollin' Cats accounted
for 2 points each.
"The kids executed our game plan to a "T", but as always there
is room for improvement. Defensive hockey wins championships and
that is the area we will be concentrating on in the upcoming
weeks," said Coach Brad Zarem".
Come see Novi Inline Varsity Hockey this Sunday at 5:10 p.m. as
they face the Chiefs of Canton at Total Sports of Wixom.
