Novi Inline ends season with
loss to Walled Lake Central 5-2

Novi was set to advance to the finals of the league playoffs but ran into a hot Walled Lake Central team. The Cats had a number of flurries, but the W.L.C goalie came up big in stopping Novi's assault early in this semi-final game, as the Cats fell 5-2. Jeff Donohue and Mike Arnold found the back of the net for the Wildcats.

After setting the bar high with expectations, in the end Coach Smith was pleased with the overall inaugural season. "Of course we where disappointed at not make the finals in both league and the state tournaments," Smith said. "I am very proud that we stuck to our plan and finished a respected 8-3-1 with the 2nd lowest goals against in the league"

Coach Smith and his staff look forward to this year's banquet and next season's play.
