Inline 'Cats sink Canton 9-3

Following a disappointing and undisciplined game against Walled Lake Central last weekend, Novi put a good game together Thursday evening, soundly defeating Canton 9-3 at Total Sports in Wixom. Most impressive was that the Wildcats had 7 different goal scorers.

Leading the way for Novi was Jeff Donahue with a goal and 3 assists. Justin Ascenzo and Nick Carroll each had 2 goals. Also scoring for Novi was Kyle Mouch, Matt Renner, Mike Arnold, and Shamus Finnerty.

Novi held Canton to just 18 shots and played discipline hockey by staying out of the box for the first 2 periods.

Chad Tindall was solid between the pipes and also helped out the Wildcat offense with a short-handed goal assist.

Novi's next game is Sunday at 8:30 p.m. against the Brighton Bulldogs. Come out and see this classic Kensington Valley match up!
