2/17/2006 by Roger Jaussi

On Senior Night, the Wildcats dominated visiting Hartland 7-2. Nine different players tallied either a goal or assist as the Wildcats were on top of Hartland from virtually the opening face-off.

Ryan Fox began the scoring just 30 seconds into the game with assists to Jeff Donahue and Kyle Mouch. 34 seconds later, Ryan Timar scored with Tom Ciavarella assisting. Later in the period, Mark Bernier and Tom Ciavarella each scored with Shamus Finnerty and Mike Arnold assisting Bernier.

Novi started the second period much like the first with two quick goals. Jeff Donahue scored with yet another assist for Mike Arnold. Less than 2 minutes later, Tom Ciavarella scored his second goal of the evening with Ryan Timar assisting to give Novi a 6-0 lead. Hartland finally scored at 7:53 of the second period to end the shutout effort.

Hartland found the net one more time in the third period, but Novi also added to their total with Greg Morisette scoring a power play goal with assists credited to Tom Ciavarella and Ryan Timar.

The game ended with Novi winning 7-2. Brad Clos was outstanding in goal for Novi.

Novi's next home game is Saturday vs Livonia Churchill at 1:00pm.
