Brad Clos looked like a wall in front of the goal Wednesday evening at the Novi Ice Arena - a concrete wall that no puck was going to get through. The Howell Highlanders tried, but were definitely not successful, as Clos and the Wildcat defense shut them down in their second big win of the week.

Steve Rousseau scored both of Novi's goals, one in the first period and another in the third, and also contributed to the Wildcat's defense to ensure the victory.

Meanwhile, Novi's defense was all over the Highlanders, dashing their hopes of a road win. It was a similar story Monday, as the Wildcats sunk the Pinckney Pirates 8-5 at Novi.
