Wildcats and Mavericks Skate to 3 - 3 Tie
Steve Rousseau ties things up with 46 seconds to go

The Wildcats skated to a 3 - 3 tie against the Milford Mavericks Tuesday evening at the Novi Ice Arena, with three different Cats scoring for Novi. It was a catch-up game for Novi right up until the final minute, when Novi's 6-man rush did the job and tied up the game.

Milford got on the board first, but Novi came back strong in the second period with a goal from Ryan Fox off a Tom Ciaverilla / Steve Rousseau pass.

In the third period, it was Greg Morisette scoring with an assist from Brett Walczak to close in on the Mavericks. With a minute to go, Novi pulled goalie Brad Clos, and the 6-man rush worked. Steve Rousseau scored with 46 seconds to go, assisted by Ryan Timar and Ryan Fox.

Next week, the Wildcats take on Pinckney Monday and Howell Tuesday - both games at the Novi Ice Arena.
