Places 1-4

Tuesday afternoon was that
of an Indian summer, though it felt like a July summer. With temperatures
easily above 90, the Women's Cross Country Team defeated the South Lyon
Lions by a convincing score of 16-47.
The team dominated the
visiting Lions, taking places 1-4. Finishing first was Maghan Bannatz, who
"ran tough" according to Coach Reid. Andrea Kramer was just behind Bannatz
to take second place. Laura Sheeran and Erin Haynes picked up spots 3 and
4 for the Lady 'Cats.
Emily Barton, Erica Howard
and freshman Kelli Brown rounded out the top 7 for the team. While the
race against South Lyon was important, the team has a huge meet this
weekend: Oakland Counties. T
he team has been running
"with a lot of heart" according to Coach Reid and it should be interesting
to see where they stack up when compared to the rest of Oakland County.
