KVC Rival Milford Too Much For Women;s CC
34-21 Loss Gives Team 3-4 KVC Record

On Tuesday afternoon, the Women's Varsity Cross Country team was defeated by the Milford Mavericks by a final score of 34-21. The Milford women are undefeated on the season.

While the loss drops the team to 3-4, Coach Reid is optimistic. The team has posted times comparable to the best in the KVC and with league meet coming up Monday it should be interesting to see where the team ends up according to Reid.

At Oakland Counties the team beat Lakeland- a team they lost to a dual meet- so there is plenty of optimism that the Lady 'Cats stack up with many of the teams that have beaten them previously.

The team runs again at the KVC League meet. The race will take place at Hudson Mills Metro Park.
