Novi Men's Cross Country 4th at County Meet
Wildcats "getting better every week" says Coach Smith

The Wildcat Men's Cross Country team took 4th place in a field of 42 teams Saturday at the Oakland County Meet at Possum Hollow. The team is "getting better every week. It was a great meet for us," noted veteran Head Coach Robert Smith.

Top teams were first place Lahser (91 points), followed by Lake Orion (142), Walled Lake Central (165), Novi (179), and Milford (183).

Top runners in the Varsity race for Novi were Wheat (17:09), Prasad (17:17), Wagner (17:17), Lumley (17:35), MacDonough (17:58), Barnes (18:00) and Manza (18:37).

On the J.V. squad, it was Croad (18:53), Place (19:04), Fannon (19:11), Brunner (19:22), Ornes (19:29), Morrison (19:31), and Shrader (19:34).

Today the Wildcats take on Hartland at Village Elementary. This weekend is the Richard Invitational in Ann Arbor on Saturday morning.
