Novi Men's CC Competes in
U of D Titan Invitational

Always the strategist, Wildcat Men's Cross Country Coach Robert Smith decided to rest his 'top eight' runners for Saturday's University of Detroit Jesuit Titan Invitational. The meet, which took place at Northville's Cass Benton Park, was not team scored.

It was a perfect day for running - clear and 65 degrees on Saturday morning. And the guys who ran had a very good meet - 18 of 21 set personal records for the season!

Leading the way for Novi was Steve Fannon. He was followed by Aaron Croad, Bryant Orens, Mike Place and Jim Brunner. Rounding out the top ten were Evan Danielsen, Peter Andrews, Chris Kelley and Zach Rothermel.

If you haven't attended a Cross Country meet, especially at Northville's Cass Benton Park, be sure to make time this season! You won't regret it. It's especially nice there as the trees begin to change colors - which should be soon. This week however, the Wildcats head to Howell on Tuesday to take on the Highlanders.
