Is Brighthouse service as fast as advertised?
May 11, 2010 by Ed Coury

I have been subscribing to Brighthouse Networks' Road Runner High Speed Internet Service with Turbo Boost for about three months. The company says I should expect speeds of up to 20 or 22 megabytes per second (Mbps). Unfortunately, I am averaging around 10 Mpbs, usually less.

I contacted Brighthouse, and a technician came to my home. The company says it is working on speed, and should have improved the service by the end of May. So far, I have not noticed a difference.

I am interested in knowing what speeds other Novi customers are getting with this service. After all, we have only one cable Internet provider available to residents of the city, and we should know what level of serice is being offered.
