Thank you, Chief Smith

May God Bless and watch over Frank Smith as he begins his new life away from the Novi Fire Department. He has served this city very well in the time that he has been here.

Only those in the Fire and Police service know the joys and heart aches that their jobs bring on a daily basis. I would imagine that in Frank's duties as a firefighter he has witnessed the very best that life has to offer and no doubt has helped bring new life into this world. And, Frank has no doubt witnessed the very sad and wicked part of life and most likely has witnessed untimely deaths and its' associated sadness all too often.

The entire community owes Frank a debt of gratitude. He has chosen a life of service to his community and he has performed his duties with exceptional honor. I urge everyone who reads this to send a card or an email to Chief Smith, thanking him for all that he has done. He deserves our accolades. He deserves our gratitude.

Thank you Chief Smith. For everything.
