NOVI, MI - The Novi Chamber of Commerce this week named Fox Run retirement community its large business recipient of its 2012 business award for Customer Service Excellence. Fox Run was noted as being a Business that demonstrates a commitment to meeting customers’ needs. Fox Run’s attributes, the Novi Chamber of Commerce said, include the ability to interact effectively with customers from diverse cultural backgrounds and a passion that runs through the company to address customer service.

In 2011, Fox Run did a satisfaction survey that showed more than 90 percent of employees ranked Fox Run as the Number 1 location in which people wanted to work.

Fox Run officials received the award at the Novi Chamber of Commerce’s Toast of the Town Gala. Six businesses out of more than 20 applicants received a Business Recognition Award, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, City of Novi and Novi Rotary.

Fox Run retirement marked a 20 percent increase in settlements of apartment homes for yearend 2011. It also marked an 87 percent jump in reservations. As a result, Fox Run today is at an all-time high of 92 percent occupancy. A total of 88 apartment homes were settled in 2011, compared to 73 the prior year. In addition, a total of 92 people reserved apartment homes, compared to 49 the prior year.

People moved to Fox Run from geographic areas of Oakland County, Macomb and Livingston counties, with some moving from as far away as Massachusetts, Tennessee and Florida.

A key factor in helping people move to Fox Run was the in-house realty services program that connected prospective residents with movers, real estate agents and move-in officials to make the selling of a home, and the logistics management that go along with it, as easy as possible. A total of 98 percent of all settlements was obtained through this program.

Apartment homes at Fox Run range in size from 700 square feet to 1,800 square feet. Entrance deposit prices range from the $150,000s to $400,000.
