LANSING, MI - Following Governor Synder's State of the State speech, Novi's State House Representative, Hugh Crawford, made the following statement:

"I am especially pleased to hear Gov. Snyder place a renewed focus on 'regulatory reinvention.' As Regulatory Reform Chairman for the House of Representatives, I am planning a statewide tour this spring, holding town halls to hear which outdated laws and over regulations are most detrimental to job providers. Updating our requirements will have a major impact on job expansion and encourage other companies to locate here. After hearing his speech, I'm confident the governor will be a strong partner in this effort."
