Nov. 15, 2011  RELATED NEWS

NOVI, MI - Novi Police this morning identified the two teenagers charged in the melee that occurred on Saturday at Pavilion Court Apartments, and that then spilled over to Twelve Oaks Mall, frightening shoppers.

17 year-old Marshal A. Thomas of Dearborn Heights was charged with Carrying Concealed Weapon, a 5 year felony, and also Brandishing a Firearm in Public and Reckless Use of a Firearm, both misdemeanors. He is accused of firing the shots into the air at Pavilion Court Apartments during a fight involving several people.

18 year-old Mario A. Williams of Detroit was charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon, a 5 year Felony. Williams is accused of pulling a gun during a brawl involving several people at Twelve Oaks Mall. The two incidents are believed to be related.

Police indicate that the melee was the result of an argument over an ongoing "relationship issue" amongst the group involved.
