Eight Mile Road to close for a week in Lyon Township

Beverly Hills, Mich. —  The Road Commission for Oakland County announced late Monday that Consumers Energy will close Eight Mile Road to through traffic between Currie and Chubb roads in Lyon Township, Tuesday, October 25th through Thursday, November 3, to inspect the company’s natural gas pipeline.

During the closure, the detour route for through traffic will be Currie Road to Nine Mile Road to Chubb Road and back to Eight Mile Road and vice versa.
