School Board Trustees endorse Bob Gatt for Novi Mayor

Novi, Mich. — Novi School Board Trustees George Kortlandt and
Dennis O’Connor have joined the long list of supporters who endorse
Bob Gatt for Novi Mayor.
“Bob Gatt is the experienced leader
we need to help ensure that the City of Novi remains an attractive
community for families and businesses,” said Kortlandt, who serves
as Secretary on the Novi Board of Education.
“As a councilman and Mayor Pro-Tem,
Bob Gatt has been a friend and booster of Novi schools and our
student body,” said O’Connor, the school board’s Vice President. “We
look forward to ‘Officer Bob’s’ continued support after he’s elected
our new Mayor in November.”
Bob Gatt thanked them for their
endorsement.
“It’s a privilege to have the support
of these two prominent members of the Novi Board of Education,” Gatt
said. “I’ve enjoyed working with the School Board while serving on
City Council. As Mayor, I will continue to work closely with Dennis
and George and partner with our schools to provide exceptional
educational opportunities and services for our community.”
The Gatt for Mayor campaign has
announced a number of endorsements in recent weeks, including:
Oakland County Commissioner Bill Dwyer, State Representative Hugh
Crawford, County Commissioner Kathy Crawford, County Executive L.
Brooks Patterson, Senator Mike Kowall, County Clerk/Register of
Deeds Bill Bullard Jr., Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard,
Mayor David Landry, former Mayor Matt Quinn, former Mayor Patricia
Karevich, former Mayor Pro Tem Ed Leininger, Councilman David Staudt,
Councilman Wayne Wrobel and former Councilman Brian Burke. Current
Novi Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) member Dr. Mav Sanghvi and former
ZBA member Brent Canup also support Gatt for Mayor. |
