Novi Community Schools names new academic administrator

NOVI, MI – Last night, the Novi Community Schools Board of Education approved Ronald J. Webber as the Assistant Superintendent of Academic Services for Novi Community Schools.

Webber comes to Novi after twelve years with South Lyon Community Schools, having served ten years as an administrator. He holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration and Non-Profit Leadership from the University of Michigan, and a B.A. in History from Alma College.

Webber has experience leading curricular and instructional initiatives, both at the building and district level. His background includes work as a teacher for elementary, middle and high school. His experience also includes a role as the Millennium Middle School and South Lyon High School Principal.

Among his many achievements, Webber was recognized as the Michigan Science Teachers Association Administrator of the Year for 2010.

Webber will begin his position with Novi Schools on September 3.
