NOVI, MI –
At last evening's Novi Board of Education Meeting, funding was
restored for athletic transportation. The funding had been cut
during previous budget discussions, but changes in the budget since
that time allowed the service to be restored for the coming school
year.
Also Thursday evening, the Board of
Education considered, but made no decision, on reducing the
per-student athletic fees. The Novi Schools Athletic Department
advises that no additional fees will be collected until a final decision is
made.
The School Board will meet at 7:00 p.m.
on Thursday, August 12 at the Educational Services Building on Taft
Road to discussion possible reductions on athletic pay-to-play fees
for the coming school year.
