Novi School Superintendent Peter Dion top candidate for Federal Way, Washington position

TACOMA, WA — The News Tribune reports this morning that Novi School Superintendent Peter Dion is one of two candidates for the top job at the Federal Way, Washington school system. The other remaining candidate is Waterford's school boss, who has much less experience.

Federal Way is located in Washington state, south of Seattle and north of Tacoma. There are 22,000 students in the district, compared to 6,200 in Novi's school district.

Their former superintendent announced his retirement last fall.
