Police report quiet St. Patrick's Day in Novi, Oakland County

NOVI and PONTIAC — Novi Police report a relatively quiet St. Patrick's Day this year, with lighter crowds observed in area bars, and just one drunk driving arrest locally.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office reports 7 drunk driving arrests by deputies county-wide Wednesday evening, which is down slightly from recent years. They also had one driving while under the influence of drugs arrest.
