Novi loses tough one to Livonia Stevenson 5-1
Brad Hofelich had that lone Wildcat goal in the quarter-final loss. The team ends the season with respectable a 16-10-2 record.  MORE

Novi Hockey Regional Champs - defeat Saline 4 - 2
Brad Hofelich had a hat-trick to lead the Wildcats to the State Quarter Finals. Ryan Baxer scored at the beginning of the third to put Novi ahead 3-1.  MORE   MORE

Novi Hockey stays alive in the playoffs with a 10-3 victor over Ann Arbor Huron
Alex Cai and Alec Wells each scored two goals to lead the Wildcats Thursday evening. Cai, Fegert and Baxter scored in the first to make it 3-2 Novi. Tewilliager, Fegert, Wells and Cyr scored in the second to make it 7-3 Novi after two.  Cai and Wells scored again in the third, followed by a goal from Hofelich to seal the deal. Goalie Josh Richardson was stellar in net, stopping 16 shots.  The team is now 16-8-2 for the season.

Novi loses close one to Northville in OT 5-4
In an exciting Baseline rivalry game, the Mustangs scored in overtime to secure the victory and a 2-1 regular season record over Novi Saturday. Brad Hofelich started things off for Novi with a goal early in the first. Bryan Fegert scored a short-handed goal and the Mustangs added one to make it 2-1 Novi after one. Hofelich scored again to make it 3-1 before the Mustangs scored three in a row to make it a serious 4-3 game. Alec Wells tied things up in the third, sending the contest into overtime. Northville's Kyle Abraham scored halfway through OT to give the Mustangs the victory.

Novi ties things up with Plymouth 2-2
After a score-less first period it was 2-0 Plymouth after two, but Novi evened things up in the third on goals by Ryan Baxter and Brad Hofelich. Brennan Martin had two assists.

Novi ices Salem 8-3
Brad Hofelich had a hat-trick to lead the Wildcats to a solid 8-3 victory over Salem. Captain Nik Tewilliager started things off with a goal early in the first, and Brennan Martin also scored to give the Wildcats an early 2-0 lead. Ryan Baxter scored two in the second, as Salem managed to gain three making it 4-3 after two. Hofelich scored his hat-trick in the third as Salem was plagued with penalities, and Nik Tewilliager scored on the open net to seal the deal for Novi.  

Novi Hockey defeats Escanaba 5-3 at the Hockey Showcase in Chelsea
The Wildcats came from a one point deficit early in the third on goals by Bryan Fegert, Jake Cyr and Brendan Wexler. Earlier goals were from Brad Hofelich and Wexler. Josh Richardson had ten saves.

Novi ices Canton Chiefs 9-3
Jake Cyr had a huge night with four goals to lead the Wildcats to victory. Alec Wells, Brad Hofelich, Captain Nick Tewilliager (2) and Bryan Fegert also scored for the Wildcats.

Livonia Stevenson ices Novi Hockey 5-2
Despite incurring two big penalties in the third period, Stevenson managed to hold on to their lead to ice Novi 5-2. The Wildcats almost caught up 4-3 with six minutes remaining, but a goal was disallowed due to a high stick. Alec Wells and Pat Wojtylo.

Novi Hockey defeats Berkley 5-4 in OT
Ryan Turner scored the game-winner just a minute into overtime to secure the victory. The #5 ranked Wildcats were behind 3-1 to #4 ranked Berkley after one, but played solid puck in the second and third. Senior Alec Wells, junior Alex Cai and senior Brad Hofelich also scored for the Wildcats.

Novi, Brighton Hockey skate to 2-2 tie
Bryan Fegert scored in the first period, and Brighton had two goals in the second to take the lead. But Brad Hofelich put one between the posts late in the third to tie things up. There were plenty of penalties to go around in a very physical game.

Novi Hockey catches the Mustangs 4-2
Brad Hofelich had two goals and two assists to lead the Wildcats to a Baseline victory over Northville in front of a packed house Friday evening. Bryan Fegert and Brendan Wexler also scored for Novi. Josh Richardson was stellar in net, stopping 25 shots. It was a clean game with few penalties.

Novi Hockey takes down ice-cold Hartland 6-4
After losing to Harland last year in regionals and falling to Hancock last week, the Wildcats played with a vengeance Wednesday. It was 6-2 after two before Hartland clawed their way back with two goals in the third.
