The Wildcats next take on the winner of the Brother Rice - De La Salle game, which will played Saturday afternoon. The next game, the State Quarter Final, is 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Novi.


Wildcat Hockey shows mercy on Walled Lake Northern, 11-3

In a game shortened by the Mercy Rule, Novi iced Walled Lake Northern 11-3. Novi takes on Hartland, next, 6:00 p.m. face-off Friday at the Novi Ice Arena.


Wildcat Hockey wins playoff opener 7-1 vs. Walled Lake Western

Novi moves on to play Walled Lake Northern in round two on Wednesday. Face-off is 6:30 p.m. at the Novi Ice Arena.

Novi Hockey falls to Livonia Churchill 6-4

It was a 2-2 hockey game after one period, but Churchill's three unanswered goals in the second sealed the 'Cats fate. Tyler Perpich scored short handed in the third, then assisted on a Zach Mohr goal two minutes, but it wasn't enough.


Novi Hockey defeats Brother Rice 6-4 in a come-from-behind victory

The 'Cats were behind 4-3 going into the third, but goals by Dixon and Manning gave them the lead. Brother's fate was sealed with a Perpich goal off a Ferriss pass with seconds to go.


Top ranked Novi CC Hockey defeats 'Cats 6-2

In their first ever meeting at the Trenton Showcase, #1 ranked Novi Catholic Central defeated Novi High School 6-2 on Friday evening.


Novi Varsity Hockey Ranked #1 in the State in Division 2

Novi Varsity Hockey finished the conference season Monday with a 7-1-1 record. Overall the 'Cats are 16-2-2, and third in the state overall behind Novi CC and Livonia Stevenson.


Wildcats devastate Baseline rival Northville 7-0

Following a nearly scoreless first period, Curtis Herzog set the 'Cats in motion with a goal at the 1:13 mark. Nolan Valleau, Tyler Perpich and Taylor Howell scored three goals in just over one minute in the second to make it a 4-1 hockey game. Joey Ferriss, Perpich and Tyler Manning scored in the third to seal the Mustangs' fate. Michael Pesendorfer earned the shutout, stopping 16 shots to Novi's 49 shots.

The Wildcats soundly defeated Salem at Plymouth Friday evening. Novi is now 15-2-2 for the season. Novi takes on Northville Monday, 6:30 p.m. at the Novi Ice Arena.

Wildcats fall to Livonia Churchill 5-4

Novi scored three in the first period, but fell behind as Churchill scored four unanswered goals in the second and third periods. Novi tied it up late in the third, but Churchill scored again 46 seconds later to earn the victory. Novi is 12-2-1 for the season.


Wildcats sweep the U.P. with a 3-0 win over Hancock

With a minute to go in the first, Brandon Juodikis scored for Novi. Both teams battled for the lead, with Joey Ferriss and Tyler Manning scoring in the third. Spencer Peterson earned the shut-out.


Wildcats defeat Calumet 5 - 3 in the first of two road games in the U.P. this weekend

Evan Dixon and Taylor Howell scored in the first, and Tyler Perpich, Brandon Juodikis and Tyler Manning scored in the third to lead the 'Cats to victory.


Wildcats shut down Livonia Franklin 8-0

Ryan McCullough had 4 assists, Taylor Howell scored 3 and Zach Mohr 2 to lead the 'Cats. Matt Stemkoski, Alex Cova and Nolan Valleau also scored. Spencer Peterson earned the shutout. Novi is now 10-1-1.


Novi suffers first loss of season, 3-1 to Cranbrook

Nolan Valleau scored on a power-play, and Cranbrook had three power-play goals at the Detroit Skating Club Arena Saturday. Novi is 9-1-1 for the season, 4-0-0 in conference action.
