Minimum requirements a.
Michigan Fire Fighter II certification
a. 18 years old b.
Michigan Basic EMT License
b. High School diploma c.
Haz-Mat Operations
c. Live within one mile of city limits d.

Fire Fighter I and Basic EMT are preferred Auxiliary
fire fighters work twelve hour shifts,
The position of paid-on-call fire fighter provides Monday
through Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM,
coverage of nights and weekends. with a maximum of 24 hours per week. Both
of these are part-time positions that respond to alarms or requests for service,
acts in emergencies such as storms, medical emergencies, extinguish fires and
performs service work as directed. You
will work under the supervision of the Fire Chief or designated supervisor.
All training, equipment and uniforms are provided along with a good wage and
benefit package. Applicants must
have no criminal record and a good driving record. Pay
for these positions is as follows:
