Real life in Novi by a life-long

Senior Year

Slacking off, taking the easy classes, and having a good time -  it’s senior year.

Now-a-days many students don’t realize that there are more kids than ever applying to college and making it that much more difficult for other students to get in. Having the grade point average and the ACT or SAT scores that make a student eligible for the college of their choice, might not be enough.

Students usually apply to college in the fall of their senior year. This leads students to think that they don’t have to keep up all the hard work they have been putting forth the last three years of high school, which allows them now to slack off -- but this isn’t the case.

It is everyone’s senior year for the Class of 2006.  All students plan to have a great one, but need to stay successful academically. Staying successful in school doesn’t mean students can’t have fun; it means putting school first by staying focused during classes and getting homework done.

After that, go hang out with friends, play video games, have a great time - and remember, “It’s our senior year!”
